The Take-Up unit (Haul-Off) is a device set at the highest part of the plastic blown film machine. It is used to pull up the blown film bubble tube which is extruded out from the die head. Its main function is to flatten the bubble tube into a lay-flat film for the further process of winding. The thickness & stability of the film can be controlled by the line speed of the take-up unit. The basic type of take-up unit is the fixed one which is used for normal film products. The other type of take-up unit is the oscillating haul-off. We offer horizontal as well as vertical oscillating haul-off.
- Horizontal Oscillating Haul-Off
- Vertical Oscillating Haul-Off
The oscillating haul-off has nip rollers which are composed of a rubber roller & a steel roller. The interaction between these two rollers squeezes all the air out from the bubble tube & makes it extremely flat without any wrinkles on it. The main function of oscillating haul-off is to distribute any uneven gauge variations uniformly to let the average thickness of the film. It is used for producing a film with high economical benefits & wider film width. The limit switch allows it to oscillate nearly 360-degree to reach the average thickness of the film. Depending on different materials, the rotation degree is adjustable.
- Enhance the flatness of the film
- Increase the average thickness of the film
- Bring the economical benefits
