A groove roll machine is used to convert Blown film with an embossing mark to make a grooved film. This machine is available in online as well as offline forms. Online groove machine can be installed after Haul-Off unit in Blown film machine. While the offline groove machine has a separate unwinder & winder unit.
Offline Groove machine consists of the following units:
- Main unwinder
- Hot embossing machine with oil circulation unit
- Cooling unit
- Winder
- Control Panel
The groove roll machine is constructed with a heavy-duty fabricated structure for vibration-free operation. Unwinder is equipped with a mechanical brake & web guiding system. The hot embossing unit has nip rollers, heating rollers & embossing rollers. The oil circulation unit controls the surface temperature of the heating rollers with the circulation of heated oil. We supply custom-designed embossing rollers to get the required groove on the film. The embossing impression can be adjusted using gearboxes & common shaft assembly. A cooling unit decreases the film temperature to normal temperature by natural air cooling. In last, the winder winds the film perfectly without uneven edges on the collecting roll. All AC motors are synchronized with AC variable drives by the master port as well as individual ports.
